Payment

We appreciate your payment (including insurance deductables and copays) at the time services are rendered. We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover. For treatment greater than $500, a Pay Today courtesy of 5% is given for payment in full by cash or check when you schedule the treatment.

As a courtesy for those patients who have dental insurance coverage, we will submit charges to your insurance company and can often submit claims electronically, eliminating the need for a claim form.

We have a variety of fee arrangements to ensure that your treatment is affordable. We accept major credit cards and also accept Citi Health Cards  CareCredit®  to help finance necessary care.  We will be glad to discuss your options with you.

Insurance

Our staff is well-versed in the latest coverage trends and we are more than happy to discuss the specifics of your insurance plan prior to your treatment. We can assist you in determining what portion of your treatment is covered by insurance. Our goal is to ensure you receive the maximum allowable benefits given by your insurance plan. Please bring your insurance card or papers to your first visit. 

 
"Usual and Customary" Fees

Occasionally, patients are confused about the role the insurance carrier plays in their treatment and payment of benefits.  It is not the role of the insurance company to determine what the fee should be, or what the best treatment should be.  The insurance company is obligated to pay for treatment in the manner that was advertised to you (or your employer) at the time the policy was sold. 

Conflicts sometimes arise when the insurance company advertises that it pays 100% of charges, and then pays less than that by saying that the dentists fees are higher than "Usual and Customary".
