Margaret E. Stone, DDS

  

     

Dr. Margaret Stone has been providing exceptional dental services since graduating from the University Of Michigan School Of Dentistry in 1988.  After graduation she was in private practice in Michigan and taught at the School of Dentistry.  During a trip “out east”, she fell in love with the quaint New England village of Woodstock, Vermont.  In January 1991 she moved to Woodstock and has since been providing her community with superior quality dental services designed to provide optimal oral health.

Dr. Stone keeps her clinical skills current through continuing education for herself and her staff.  Her emphasis is on cosmetic dentistry and dentistry as it relates to one's overall well being. She believes in creating an atmosphere of trust and comfort and enjoys being able to provide her services in an environment that is physically and emotionally comforting to her patients. 

 

Dentistry has changed much in the past 20 years but Dr. Stone stays on the cutting edge of technology.  She strongly believes in using the most current technology that enables her to more completely diagnose and treat her patients.  Her office was the first in Woodstock to have digital x-rays, paperless charting, VELscope oral cancer screening, Diagnodent laser caries detector, and even massage pads on the patient dental chair. 

Peggy shares her life with Michael and their 5 children.  They live in Hartland Vermont.  When not practicing dentistry or attending her children’s activities, Dr. Stone enjoys long runs, attending meditation retreats, attending theatrical productions, reading (everything from Thich Nhat Hanh inspirations to Jody Picoult novels) and preparing and eating Mexican cuisine.
